THF has trained builders, restorers, craftsmen, masons, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, artisans, accountants, surveyors and logistics managers.
More than 300 local people have participated in the train-and-work programme since 1996. Vocational training enables people from disadvantaged backgrounds to actively participate in the accelerating regional economic development. Indicator: more than a thousand people have applied to join the training programme. A number of THF-trained staff and workers already receive local work or consultancy offers in both public and private sector. |
